Team Moran flanked by The Miller Lite Boys
Newbies, backyard bandits, and seasoned veterans turned out for the Boston Beatdown Cornhole Tournament at The Baseball Tavern to benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation this past Saturday night. 16 teams battled it out, but in the end, experience mattered with Team Moran topping the field followed by the return of the Miller Lite Boys, Josh and Danny. Danny had been out of action since the summer following shoulder surgery, but was still able to lead his team to the finals! Rob Doherty captured the charity version of Last Man Standing.
After the main draw, a slew of patrons made their way upstairs for an impromptu blind draw tourney. John Moran and Josh were the lucky pairing that pitched their way to victory. It's really a simple equation: Large crowd of people + cornhole = one great night!
